I offer private yoga sessions with a focus on creating a balance between strength and flexibility. Personalized instruction brings equilibrium and balance to the whole body so you can move throughout the day with less restriction and pain as well as engage in all of life’s activities without feeling limited. I will show you how to become aware of the natural limitations of the body like skeletal variation and muscle tension. You will receive a custom routine to meet your individual needs. As your body changes, the routine will evolve with you. I draw from my personal experience of practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Hatha Yoga, all of which will be woven into your practice. My own daily practice consists of an integration of my trainings.

I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Prajna Yoga with Tias and Surya Little in New Mexico, as well as a 200-hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Paul and Suzee Grilley in California. Additional studies include anatomy at the Breathing Project with Leslie Kamonoff and Amy Matthews, Insight Yoga with Sarah and Ty Powers, and various other breathing, meditation, and mindfulness practices.

I believe there is not one style of yoga that is right for every body. Each private yoga session includes a personalized routine with guided instruction paired with breathing techniques and meditation, all customized to fit your healing needs.

Private sessions are offered at a sliding scale price of $100-200 for 60-75 minutes. Sessions are held at my private studio, RITUAL, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
