Why practice yoga?

There are many reasons to practice yoga. A routine practice can balance your physical, mental, and emotional bodies. 


What if I'm not very flexible?

Flexibility is not a requirement. We start your practice from where you are. Flexibility will increase with consistency of practice.


What should I bring to the session? 

Wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving and resting in and that do not restrict your range of motion. Bring a face towel and water bottle. Mats and props are available for use at the studio. However, bringing your own mat is preferred.


How should I prepare for the session?

Be rested, hydrated, and do not eat a large meal within 2 hours of your yoga session. A small, simple snack an hour before is ok.


When will I see some results?

That is up to you. Consistent practice will deliver faster results than inconsistent practice. We will discuss realistic time lines and goals during our first session.


What if I am running a bit late?

Do your best to be on time.  This is the time that we both agreed to have set aside to focus on your yoga practice.  Please contact me via email ASAP to let me know if you will be late so I can try to adjust my schedule accordingly. 


Where is your studio located? 

My private studio, RITUAL, is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
